AI makes mistakes. Systems that matter need a person who can check, challenge and override.
AI systems can sound confident and still be wrong. That is not a reason to avoid them. It is a reason to design them carefully.
Three questions to ask before using AI for something important
- What happens if it is wrong? The higher the stakes, the more review it needs.
- Who can override it? A real person with authority must be able to say no.
- Can the people affected understand and challenge the outcome?
Fairness and access
Good systems are tested with the people who will use them, work in the languages people speak, and stay usable for people with disabilities. Equality of access is part of building well, not an extra.
Practical habit
Treat AI output as a strong first draft. Check facts, adjust the tone, and take responsibility for what you publish or decide.
